ITINERARY
All activities will be with a certified Galapagos National Park Guide.
Day 1, El Chato Reserve, lava Tunnels.
Our staff will welcome you at the Seymour airport on Baltra Island, and transfer
you to Puerto Ayora -
Santa Cruz
Island
.
- 13:00 Lunch.
- 14:30 In the afternoon you will visit the Galapagos Giant Tortoise Reserve at
the place
known as El Chato, here you
can observe several tortoises in their natural state. You will also explore the lava
tunnels.
Day 2, Bay Tour, Tortuga Bay beach.
- 08:00 Breakfast.
- 09:00 In the morning on a navigable bay tour you will visit the
Lobería Islet, here you will have the opportunity to
snorkel and see turtles
and sea lions. Then along the channel you will visit the shark channel called
Tintoreras, Playa de los
Perros and finally the two big stone walls called Las Grietas.
- 13:00 Lunch.
- 14:00 In the afternoon you will
enjoy the Tortuga Bay beach, while you walk observe: lava
lizards,
marine iguanas, finches, endemic flora.
Day 3, Isabela Island, Tintoreras islet.
- 06:00 Breakfast.
-07:00 2 hours trip to Isabela Island by
speedboat. Here you will visit
the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre where you can observe
various breeds of giant tortoises. After a walk you will visit the wetlands and
the lagoon where
flamingos, duckbills,
zayapas and stils live.
- 12:30 Lunch in Isabela.
At 10 minutes by boat you will visit the Tintoreras
Islet, this is a lava crevice where the white
tip reef sharks rest next to sea lions, pelicans, blue
footed booby and sometimes, Galapagos penguins.
- 15:00 Return to Santa Cruz Island.
Day 4, Los Gemelos.
- 08:00 Breakfast.
Transfer to Baltra Airport, but first we will make a stop at Los
Gemelos, which are some land sinks, here you can
observe a scalesia forest that is populated by endemic species of Galapagos such as the finch.
