ITINERARY
All activities will be supervised by a certified guide from the Galapagos National Park.
Day 1: El Chato Reserve and Lava Tunnels
Our staff will be waiting for you with a sign outside the Seymour Airport on Baltra Island to take you to the giant tortoises’ reserve known as El Chato.

El Chato Reserve Tour
In the reserve, you will observe the some of the giant Galapagos tortoises
walking freely on the
fields and others cooling off in the puddles formed by the rains. You can take pictures with
these beautiful animals, just don't forget that you must be at least 2 meters away from them.
By the end of the tour, the guide will take you to the
tunnels that were formed by volcanic
lava
. This is an excellent place to learn how the islands were formed thanks to the
volcanoes.

Lunch at the Ranch
By the end of the tour, you will have a delicious lunch at the ranch
restaurant, with a wonderful view of the fields where giant tortoises inhabit.
After a short break, our staff will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2: Bartolomé Island Tour
- 6:00am: breakfast.
A member of the agency or the yacht will pick you up at the hotel to take you to one of the most
photographed places in the world: Bartolomé Island.
The trip begins in Puerto Ayora. You will head to the Itabaca Channel, where the yacht crew will
be waiting to take you to Bartolomé Island. The navigation lasts approximately two hours, but in
your way there, you will see Daphne Island. The boat will navigate around
Daphne so you can admire several blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies and lots of other birds.
Keep your camera at hand!

Bartolome Island.
Once you reach the shore, a guide will take you to the top of the volcano
on Bartolomé Island. It will take 30 minutes to climb the steps.
Once you are at the top, you will be able to see one of the most photographed places in the
world due to its beautiful landscape, and where the Pinnacle stands out. After taking pictures
of this view, you will go down to the base of the volcano, where the yacht crew will be waiting
for you with some snacks.
- Lunch on the yacht

Sullivan Bay or Sombrero Chino
Depending on the yacht's itinerary, you can visit the beach of Sullivan Bay or
Sombrero Chino, where you can snorkel and see several colorful fish, sea
turtles, marine iguanas and whitetip reef sharks.
- By the end of the trip, the yacht will take you to the Itabaca Channel and then a shuttle will
get you to your hotel in Puerto Ayora.

Day 3: tour to North Seymour
- 7:00am: breakfast.
- 7:45am: our staff will pick you up at your hotel to take you to one of the islands
with the largest number of birds in Galapagos: North Seymour.
In the first part of the trip, you will get a shuttle from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca Channel.
Then, you will take a boat to this beautiful island.

North Seymour Island
Once you disembark, a guide will take you to see the bushes where the male
frigatebirds rest – they are easily recognizable by their red
chest.
Going further, you will find several blue-footed boobies who are courting their
partners
performing their delicate mating dance. You can also see lots of blue-footed boobies with their
chicks. Under the bushes, you will see several terrestrial
iguanas, easily recognizable by their
yellow color.
On the beach next to the rocks, there are several sea lions and their babies. In addition, you
will see several seabirds, like swallow-tailed gulls or pelicans.

Las Bachas Beach
- Lunch on the Yacht.
By the end of the trip, the yacht will take you to a beach called Las Bachas,
where you snorkel and observe reef fish and sea turtles. Near the beach, there is a small lagoon
where usually you can find some flamingos.
- 3:30pm: you will return to the Itabaca Canal and then a shuttle will take you to the hotel.

Day 4: Tour to Santa Fe Island
- 7:00am: breakfast.
- 7:30am: our staff will take you to the agency's office so that you can try on your wetsuits,
which will help you keep your body temperature.
- 8:00am: the trip from Puerto Ayora to Santa Fe Island begins. The navigation
takes about an hour. Once you arrive, the crew will help you with the equipment so you can
snorkel in the waters of this beautiful island.

Santa Fe Island
This island is characterized by having one of the largest colonies of sea lions. Usually, they approach people underwater, swimming happily around enthusiastic tourists or even playing with their fins. You'll also encounter several sea turtles and, from time to time, docile whitetip reef sharks. After snorkeling, the captain will order the crew to prepare the fishing rods and, with a bit of luck, you can catch a yellowfin tuna.

Playa Escondida
- Lunch on the yacht.
The last point to visit is Playa Escondida. You can take a well-deserved rest on this quiet
beach with fine sand and, if you want, you can snorkel in its crystal-clear waters.
- At last, the yacht will transfer you back to Puerto Ayora.

Day 5: Tortuga Bay Beach and Charles Darwin Station
- 7:00am: breakfast.
- 8:00am: our staff will transfer you from the hotel to the entrance of Tortuga Bay
beach. After registering, you will walk for about 30 minutes until you reach the
beach known as Playa Brava. After a 15-minute walk along this beach, you will arrive at Playa
Mansa. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved rest: its waters are so calm it looks like a pool.

Playa Mansa
Playa Mansa is ideal for relaxing, sunbathing, reading a book, enjoying the view and snorkeling
in its calm waters.
- 12:00pm: return to the hotel.
- 1:30pm: our staff will take you from the hotel to one of the best restaurants in Puerto Ayora,
so you can enjoy a delicious lunch.

Charles Darwin Station
- 2:30pm: our staff will take you to the entrance of the Charles Darwin Station, where a guide
assigned by the Galapagos National Park will take you to see the places where baby giant
tortoises are located and will show you the efforts made by the Galapagos National
Park to conserve this species. By the end of the tour, you will visit a museum dedicated to the
last tortoise of its kind, Lonesome George.
Along the way, you will get to see several marine iguanas sunbathing.

Day 6: Los Gemelos and transfer to the airport
- 8:00am: breakfast.
Our staff will pick you up at the hotel to take you to the Itabaca Channel. But first you will
visit a place called Los Gemelos (in case you didn't do it on the first day). In these pit
craters, there is a scalesia forest, where finches and Darwin's flycatchers live.
After this, our staff will take you to the Itabaca Channel and finally to the airport on Baltra
Island.
